Mission

AZUR Development's mission is to provide leadership in the socio-cultural and economic development of the Congo and of Africa in general.

AZUR Development works in the socio-cultural development of the Congo and of Africa in general.  As a non political, non-profit organization, AZUR Development encourages sustainable development through the love of work . It provides a space for growth and creativity for those who work there.

AZUR Development will attain the following objectives:

- promote art and culture;

- promote women empowerment and sustainable development;

- bring multi-fold assistance to the sick, to the disadvantaged and to vulnerable people;

- work to protect environment.

Our actions on the ground in 2005.

Thanks to your willingness to be agents of change, we have achieved encouraging results, where the majority of the 200+ beneficiaries have been young people. Receive our 2005 annual report today .

People benefiting from AZUR Development activities are (in order of priority) women, children and the disadvantaged.

Our activities cover the whole country of Congo and expand to other African countries. In the Congo , we have worked with organisations from Brazzaville , Pointe-Noire, Sibiti, Dolisie, Gamboma, Kinkala and Ouesso.

The activities of AZUR Dévelopment give priority to women, but also seek to assist children and vulnerable people.

In Africa , we are working in partnership with organizations in The Democratic Republic of the Congo, Central African Republic , Chad and Togo .

AZUR Développement is currently active in the following areas:

     Brazzaville : A general office coordinates all activities in the country and in Africa

     Pointe-Noire: An office that coordinates activities in the city of Pointe-Noire .

     Nkayi: A regional office coordinates activities in the departments of Bouenza and Niari.

One of our students, Ividi Loumbi Parfait, gives us his opinions regarding the computer training he receives at the AZUR Dévelopment center in Brazzaville . Ividi is a physical sciences student in his third year in the College of Sciences at the National University Marien Ngouabi in The Republic of Congo.

Who told you about the computer courses given by AZUR Développement?

“Ans, a member of AZUR who lives on the university campus with me, told me about it. I had told him that I wanted to take computer classes during vacation. I had started some classes before, but I didn’t complete the training. I had a leaflet from another organization that was doing beginner’s Internet courses, but I was really looking for an advanced course. That’s exactly what AZUR offered me. Ans told me that at CDI, I could have more time on the computer.”


“I think the teaching methods are better.”


Ividi suggested that students ought to have the opportunity to practice their skills even after the training classes, for a month. “I’m going to volunteer to input
